About SANTIAGO AMÉZQUITA

 

Santiago Amézquita is a Los Angeles–based composer from Bogotá, Colombia, creating music for film, television, games, and immersive media. His work blends electronic sound design with orchestral composition, crafting emotionally driven scores that serve story, character, and atmosphere.

Recent credits include the Colombian feature film Esto Se Calentó, recorded with the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra, as well as contributions to productions for Netflix, HBO, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime, and Telemundo.

Santiago has collaborated with composers Zach Robinson and Jeff Morrow on projects including Cobra Kai, America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and the Emmy-winning documentary George Carlin's American Dream, among many others.

Beyond screen-based work, he creates immersive and spatial audio experiences for museums and cultural institutions, with projects presented at the New Museum (New York), CaixaForum (Spain), and the Museum of Islamic Art (Doha, Qatar).

He is available for feature films, television, documentaries, advertising, games, and immersive experiences worldwide.
